As a leader in the distribution of kitchen equipment and accessories, we are looking for a Commercial Sales Coordinator to optimize sales operations and provide strategic support to our sales team.
Reporting to the Commercial Sales Director, your role will be to coordinate management tools and data, organize meetings, and facilitate collaboration between teams. You will ensure the efficiency of processes, track objectives, and oversee the smooth execution of sales operations.
Your Future Responsibilities
Operational Support for the Sales Team:
- Manage the Commercial Sales Director’s schedule and travel.
- Organize regular meetings with the sales team (individual meetings, field visits, team meetings).
- Ensure follow-ups on action items from meetings and handle administrative requests from sales representatives.
- Manage first-level customer complaints and escalate if necessary.
Sales Tools Support & Management:
- Optimize and maintain sales management tools (CRM, Power BI, etc.).
- Train and support teams in using these tools.
- Collaborate with the IT department to ensure system updates.
- Develop tools to enhance sales management.
Administrative Support for Sales Analysis:
- Compile and structure sales data to provide analytical support.
- Prepare summary reports highlighting trends and opportunities.
- Track priorities and action items following meetings.
Coordination of Administrative Tasks:
- Manage administrative operations: contracts, orders, customer returns.
- Organize internal meetings and events, preparing necessary documents.
- Ensure proper filing and management of commercial documents.
- Track supplier returns and update customer information.
- Manage the vacation calendar and administrative follow-ups.
Interdepartmental Communication & Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments (marketing, logistics, etc.).
- Support the implementation of business initiatives.
- Communicate and enforce new internal standards and procedures.
Training & Development of the Sales Team:
- Coordinate and monitor ongoing training for the sales team.
- Collaborate with the Director to identify and organize relevant training sessions.
- Ensure the integration of new sales representatives and follow up on training feedback.
- Maintain a training registry and suggest development recommendations.
What You Need to Succeed:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a multi-site environment or administrative support for a sales team.
- Experience in team management or coordination (an asset).
- Proficiency in CRM tools and office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bilingualism (French and English).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, initiative, and the ability to manage priorities quickly and efficiently.
- Adaptability, innovation, organizational agility, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong customer-focused approach, with the ability to manage uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Availability to travel between different branches.
