Leader in the distribution of kitchenware and BBQ equipment, Doyon Després also offers a wide range of cooking and BBQ classes for all food enthusiasts.

Your Future Responsibilities:

• Lead cooking activities with passion;
• Purchase the necessary materials;
• Prepare the ingredients, recipes, and activities for each cooking class.

Schedule:

• Saturdays and Sundays during the day;
• Each class lasts 3 hours;
• An additional 3 hours are allocated for preparation, shopping, and cleanup;
• Occasionally, other days may be added depending on demand and your availability;
• Approximately 12 hours per week, depending on registrations;
• Possibility of part-time hours in-store for candidates interested in a combined role.

Classes | You will need to master the following culinary skills:

• Introduction to gas BBQ;
• Introduction to charcoal BBQ;
• Pizza making;
• Italian pasta and sauces;
• Italian pasta and sauces (gluten-free);
• Stuffed Italian pasta;
• Sauce making;
• Intermediate gas BBQ (optional specialty);
• Sous-vide cooking (optional specialty);
• Wok cooking (optional specialty);
• Fish and tartare (optional specialty);
• Vegetarian cooking (optional specialty).

Your future workdays could look like this:

• Assist and serve customers based on their needs;
• Recommend and suggest the best products;
• Participate in the setup of kitchen equipment and accessories;

Schedule: Approximately 12 to 15 hours per week.
Store open 7 days a week – daytime and weekend availability required based on operational needs.

• Welcome and assist customers in store
• Provide advice based on customer needs
• Prepare quotes and follow up with customers
• Participate in merchandising and product displays
• Complete price changes
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth store operations

• Experience in customer service (an asset)
• Interest in cooking, BBQ, or coffee (a strong plus!)
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Strong communication skills

• Comfortable using technology
• Bilingual (English/French)
