For this exceptional project, Doyon Després partnered with Inox-Fab, its specialized subcontractor in stainless steel foodservice furnishings, to design a fully custom outdoor kitchen. Crafted from 16-gauge, marine-grade 316 stainless steel, this installation delivers superior corrosion resistance and outstanding durability, even when exposed to the elements.
A stainless steel outdoor kitchen: robust and timeless
The "L"-shaped layout with a custom double-sided linear island for storage integrates a 3-drawer module equipped with a professional plancha and built-in burners, allowing for the simultaneous preparation of multiple dishes. At the heart of this configuration, the 32" built-in Series 700 barbecue with side burner offers remarkable cooking power and unmatched versatility.
The specially reinforced corner module houses a kamado for authentic charcoal cooking, enhanced by the DoJoe pizza cooking rack that transforms this traditional barbecue into a true artisan pizza oven.
There is also a built-in waste drawer and an under-counter sink with a retractable faucet, making cleaning and preparation much easier.
The second island, a true storage center, offers three generous drawers and a custom space for a 24" under-counter outdoor refrigerator with two zones, ensuring optimal food and beverage storage within easy reach.
Sheltered under a protective roof with a panoramic view of the pool, this outdoor kitchen enjoys a privileged location. The shelter allows for cooking in all seasons, while the proximity to the pool area creates the perfect resort atmosphere for summer entertaining. This ingenious layout establishes an optimal outdoor work triangle where each piece of equipment finds its natural place, offering remarkable fluidity between preparation, cooking, and serving.
