Founded in 1996 by Carlos Ferreira, and now in the hands of his daughter Sandra, this iconic establishment has established itself as an essential reference in Montreal's culinary landscape. The establishment offers modern Portuguese cuisine that respects traditions while reinventing them with finesse and creativity.

Our team had the privilege of participating in the evolution of this prestigious establishment by taking charge of designing the layout plan, delivery, and complete implementation of the main cooking line and laundry area. This project was carried out in close collaboration with the Ferreira Café team, including the valuable contribution of Natalia, the chef who arrived in 2022, whose involvement and passion for Portuguese gastronomy enriched our approach. This trust placed in our expertise demonstrates our ability to create perfectly adapted gastronomic culinary spaces to meet the needs of professionals.

The Ferreira Café maintains its tradition of excellence by using state-of-the-art professional equipment. For this new kitchen, we installed a complete range of equipment including a 72-inch boiling cooktop, 12 burners of 40,000 BTU each, two ovens with 4 refrigerated drawers, a salamander, a commercial fryer with a capacity of 50 lbs, and a work surface for the stove. We also integrated the pre-existing Gresylva grill, a specific Portuguese grill, into the entire kitchen setup. The cooking line and pass-through were entirely custom-built in stainless steel, including a heated base, all arranged on a steel structure to maximize floor maintenance.

The laundry area was equipped with Jackson brand equipment, including an efficient dishwasher and a double sink. To maximize efficiency in this limited space, we created a custom solution with a clearing table and specifically dimensioned stainless steel components, ensuring optimal functionality.

In close collaboration with the Ferreira Café team and the general contractor, we planned the delivery and implementation in a way that minimized the impact on the restaurant's daily operations, successfully completing the entire project in less than two weeks. Our technicians executed the implementation according to a precise plan.
