Collège Sainte-Anne
Lachine – 2025
An exceptional partner for a visionary institution
Collège Sainte-Anne de Lachine is one of the flagship campuses within the Sainte-Anne network. Part of an institution with over 120 years of history, this secondary-level campus embodies educational excellence and pedagogical innovation. With six campuses across the Greater Metropolitan Area, the Sainte-Anne network continually pushes the boundaries of education in Quebec.
With this commitment to continuous improvement in mind, Doyon Després was mandated to modernize the service kitchen and equip the dining areas of the Lachine campus—strategic spaces essential to the daily food service operations for students and staff.
Our project
Working closely with the College, our team led this modernization project as part of a major renovation of the campus dining spaces. We designed the complete service-kitchen plans and supplied specialized equipment to optimize the food service areas.
Service kitchen
To ensure efficient food production, we installed a 50-lb Vulcan fryer along with an Omcan countertop holding warmer to keep fries at the ideal serving temperature. A T&S swing-spout faucet completes this area, streamlining daily operations.
Food storage is supported by a New Air single solid-door freezer and an Atosa single solid-door refrigerator, ensuring freshness and reliability. A New Air sandwich/salad prep table allows for quick and hygienic preparation of cold meals.
Dining areas
The service counter features New Air countertop refrigerated display cases in 24-inch and 32-inch formats, as well as a 40-inch open refrigerated display case from New Air, providing maximum visibility for fresh products and beverages. Hatco heat lamps complete the layout, ensuring hot dishes are always served at optimal temperature.
Custom-built equipment manufactured by Julien and installed by our team was also integrated, including striking sneeze guards that add a distinctive touch.
A modern snack counter and a Ma Cantine smart vending machine were also incorporated, always offering a self-service solution available and tailored to students’ diverse needs.
This turnkey installation enables Collège Sainte-Anne de Lachine to deliver a modern and efficient food service operation, perfectly suited to the daily needs of its school community and aligned with the vision of excellence that defines this leading Québec educational institution.
