The thermometer is one of the main features of all grills, it is an accessory without which flawlessly cooking meals and food may almost seems like an impossible task and be up to chance. Big Green Egg went back far away in time to analyze the cooking techniques developed and improved by men and women during the last centuries to ultimately design its own version of the charcoal barbecue. Clay cooking vessels once was what Chinese and Japanese people’s used to cook food, and that is what first inspired the company, which based its idea on this old way of cooking, but adapted it to modern times’ needs and expectations.
