Standard delivery
Standard delivery is free on orders of $99 or more before taxes. A $12.99 fee applies for orders under $99.

Holiday Return Policy

Manuals and documentation
The removal of charcoal or ashes from the tank of a cooking appliance is pretty easy when they are both contained into a fire bowl like this one. One simply has to put the charcoal in the fire bowl and put the fire bowl in the bottom of the tank. Once the charcoal is cold, the only thing left is to get the fire bowl out of the tank and to shake it above a trash can, that is it!

Big Green Egg went back far away in time to analyze the cooking techniques developed and improved by men and women during the last centuries to ultimately design its own version of the charcoal barbecue. Clay cooking vessels once was what Chinese and Japanese people used to cook food, and that is what first inspired the company, which based its idea on this old way of cooking, but adapted it to modern times’ needs and expectations.
Right when it began its activities, the company recruited the best artisans specialized in creating objects made of ceramic they could find and found some materials developed by NASA in order to replicate the domed cookers that were highly popular during World War II among soldiers who had used one during their deployment overseas. The Big Green Egg is since several years the main product of the company, which ensures that its charcoal barbecue can not be compared to any other grill.
